ABOUT NAGORI VISUAL
The people behind Nagori Visual.
Visual storytelling shaped by a lasting appreciation for Japan.
We believe that the character of a place lives in more than its appearance. It is found in the details, the atmosphere, the materials, and the welcome that stays with you long after you leave.

OUR PERSPECTIVE
A Lasting Impression.
Nagori Visual was born from a shared connection between Italy and Japan.
We are an Italian–Japanese couple. My wife is from Kobe, and although we currently live in Italy, we hope to make Japan our home in the future. Through our visits, we have grown increasingly drawn to the country’s architecture, history, traditions, and—above all—the people who bring them to life.
We have experienced a warmth of welcome, a quiet beauty, and a sense of place that deserve to be discovered by more people. Nagori Visual grew from the wish to help others appreciate that beauty, by presenting the character of Japanese places with care, clarity, and respect.
OUR APPROACH
Respecting the Character of Every Place
We believe in no unnecessary distortion and no forced aesthetic. Sometimes, a change of perspective is enough to help a place show itself to the world in the best possible light—without losing the details that make it distinctive.
Two ideas inform our way of thinking: nagori, the lingering impression an experience leaves behind, and kintsugi, the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery with lacquer and gold. One reminds us of what remains with us; the other invites us to recognise character and value even in imperfection.
1 / NAGORI
The impression that remains
We aim to communicate not only what a place looks like, but what people may remember and feel about it.
2 / KINTSUGI
Value in imperfection
We look for the authentic qualities that make a place individual, rather than hiding every trace of age or character.
